The Southernmost House stands guard at the southernmost corner of Duval Street. Built as a private home in 1896, this spectacular Victorian spent a number of years as a Cuban Café operated by the Ramos family who eventually made the house their home, and hosted a Who's Who of Key West residents and visitors, including Hemingway and Truman. After a more recent renovation, the Southernmost House is now an elegant 18-room Inn. While not open for formal tours, you can stop by and have a look.
