At 86 feet tall, it's an 88-step climb to the top of this 1847 lighthouse, where you'll find unparalelled views from the observation deck. The adjacent Keeper's Quarters Museum tells the tales of the lighthouse keepers who tended the lamps and were an integral part of the island's wrecking history.
If you're afraid of heights (like me) it's worth it to try to get to the top, but if you can't, then what you'll see and learn and the museum is more than worth the price of admission.
